Sample Itineraries

While virtually any itinerary and schedule can be planned, here are some possible itineraries:

1. Purbinar valley, Kaghan--5-10 days trekking, 10-14,000 feet to a glacial lake. Trout fishing possible. Pack horse possible. Average difficulty.

2. Fairy Meadows, Nunga Parbat Base Camp--4 days of trekking. Fantastic views of Nanga Parbat. Up to 14,000 feet. Average difficulty.

3. Mazino Pass, Circumnavigating Nanga Parbat base--6 days. Expert trekker--Ropes needed to descend the pass.

4. Deosai Plains--Cross this high altitude plateau by horse or foot--4-7 days.

5. K 2 Base Camp--20 days round trip to 17,000 foot base camp of the worlds second highest mountain--For experienced trekkers.

6. Biafo-Hispar Glaciers--15-20 days--Experienced trekkers.
